The making of silica preform products is a multi step manufacturing process. Its outcome is not only determined by the quality of the silica glass raw materials but most of all by the process technology competence which requires long term expertise and permanent process enhancement.

Our plus in know-how and flexibility comes from our unique combination of ressources along the value chain in our company group: process equipment design and built, preform development and making and experience of fiber drawing. The customer benefits from our process and consulting capabilities that enables us to quickly react on the individual customer’s requirements and provide him with the right products and services: from core glass manufacturing for different applications to individual optical fiber preform designs for large-core step-index fiber.
