Jena, April 12, 2010 j-BendAble OMx is the new j-fiber bend-insensitive fiber line to meet demanding installation situations in advanced data center cabling. With their superior low bending loss performance
j-BendAble OMx fibers support compact space management in data center high fiber count cabling with very small bend radii. j-BendAble fibers allow frequent modification, addition and changes (MAC) thus providing for maximum flexibility in data center cabling.
The 850nm laser-optimized 50 µm Multimode fiber enables serial 10 Gb/s Ethernet transmission over up to 550 m link lengths as well as parallel transmission options in 40 Gb/s or 100 Gb/s speeds over up to 150 m. j-BendAble OMx fibers are fully compliant with OM3 and OM4 standards and are available with extended OM2+ bandwidth range. As all j-fiber 10 Gb/s Multimode fibers, j-BendAble OMx fibers guarantee reliable system performance by most stringent DMD characterization.
j-BendAble OMx fibers are part of the j-BendAble fiber portfolio of bend-tolerant optical fibers. In addition to the bend-insensitive OMx fiber line, j-fiber offers j-BendAble Robust, the 10 Gb/s Ethernet transmission fiber with an extra 500µm coating for maximum protection from mechanical impacts , as well as
j-BendAble HiNA -customer application specific high NA fibers which show minimum attenuation loss in bending situations.
